Born in Charleston, Feb. 1938, attended Saint Patrick Grade School, then 4 years at Bishop England High. From there 1 year of PARTYING at Clemson, then 4 years in the Air Force. After the service it was 3 years in Chicago and then back home to Charleston.
In 1977 I met Janet and in Aug. of 1980 we turned Her Family and My Family into Our Family.
On Jan. 3, 2001 retired from Spawar System Center Charleston's, "Engineering Support Facility". During my time with Spawar I was also the backup photographer for promotions and retirement ceremonies. I also put together Brochures and Pamphlets, with photos and script, concerning what Our Facility accomplished for different government agencies.
Between 1980 and 2005 I studied photography at Trident Tech and also took classes with local wedding photographer Kirk Prouty. These classes grew into a friendship that will lasted till tomorrow. Between 1990 and 2005, when I owned Photography by Ron Maguire, I often assisted Kirk in photo shoots and he did the same for me.
And now My Mission is to try and help get This Outlaw, “NEUROBLASTOMA" Off The Street, along with The Other Pediatric Cancers, before OUR GREAT GRANDCHILDREN arrive here on earth.
The following verse is from a New Journeys Card by Hallmark and it goes like this;
Cancer is a villan who doesn’t play fair but it can’t dim your spirit, and it can’t silence PRAYER. Thinking of you.. praying for you.
Please keep the ones we are trying to help in your prayers, and we will keep you in ours.
